It is an honor to serve as the President of Alabama Association of Public Personnel Administrators (AAPPA).
I want to express my sincere appreciation to each of you for the efforts put forth for our combined 2009 AAPPA/IPMA-HR Southern Region Conference that was held in Mobile in May. I could not have asked for a better conference. It was above and beyond my expectations. All of the feedback I have received has been positive. It was certainly a memorable conference for everyone! It was evident to everyone that a “Team” effort contributed to our huge success. Again, thanks to each of you for your efforts.
Now, we must move forward to our 2010 AAPPA Conference to be held in San Destin, FL on July 14-16, 2010. I encourage everyone to make plans to attend. The pre-conference Problem Sharing Forum will include three great facilitators who will offer a wealth of advice that will provide assistance to HR-professionals during stormy times.
Again, I thank you for all your support, dedication and hard work and look forward to seeing you at the AAPPA Annual Conference in 2010.
