Fedrigoni shows innovative label materials at Labelexpo Asia

Manufacturer will show a series label materials including garment label, light coated, Manter and Re-Play label materials

Fedrigoni will show a series label materials including garment label, light coated, Manter and Re-Play label material during the upcoming Labelexpo Asia 2023.

The garment label products of Polytex and paper surfaces with different grades of adhesives can meet the application needs of fabrics of four grades, from linen and canvas to silk and satin. Polytex series surface material has good adhesion and sufficient stiffness suitable for clothing fabric. In addition, the adhesive properties not only ensures sufficient stickiness but also ensure that when the label is torn and removed, the fiber of the fabric is not damaged and the glue does not migrate on to the fabric.

The light coated label material can provide 60g and 70g light copperplate paper surface material with a variety of adhesive products. Compared with conventional 80g copperplate paper, the gram weight is lower, lighter and softer, suitable for small labels with requirements for stiffness. In addition, Fedrigoni provides the glue with AP999, which can meet the application requirements of small-caliber bottles.

Manter series by Fedrigoni offers good performance such as high opacity and resistance on contact with ice or temperature fluctuations, as well as waterproof features for a luxury label look.

Re-Play is the new range of self-adhesive materials with a face stock made from glassine. This product range is manufactured using an upcycling process that goes beyond the simple recycling of waste material. For the first time, the siliconized liner becomes valuable, resulting in an end product with better characteristics than the original one.

The first of these products are four 100 percent recycled white papers with 10 percent glassine content, available in natural, embossed, pearl and neck label versions. All papers carry a certificate specifying their composition and value as a recycled and sustainable product.

Re-Play’s final carbon footprint is half that of a virgin cellulose product with the same features. This is a tangible example of upcycling, where the final material has a higher value than the original material.

Founded in 1888, Fedrigoni has become one of the leading supplier of labels and self-adhesive materials and high value-added papers for luxury packaging. Fedrigoni self-adhesives division includes Arconvert, Manter, Ritrama, IP Venus, Acucote and Rimark, Divipa, Tageos and Unifol.
