Fedrigoni self-adhesives unveils innovative alternative fiber material

The company is adding new materials to enhance the elegant label designs seen in the wine, spirits and luxury product markets

Fedrigoni self-adhesives North America (FSA), part of the Fedrigoni Group, producer of premium labels and self-adhesive materials, is adding new materials to round off an increasingly wide range of products to enhance the elegant label designs seen in the wine, spirits and luxury product markets.

FSA’s range of alternative fiber papers includes 100 percent cotton and products that are a blend of cotton and recycled fibers. All of these offerings are designed to create materials with strong brand stories and visual appeal that maintain a close link to the natural environment from which they came.

Melissa Harton, marketing manager, North America, shared: ‘Fedrigoni’s line of alternative fiber materials is bound to be a source of inspiration for designers. The textures and visual elements of these papers are a genuine differentiator that will add value to any project. FSA is excited to expand our offering in the alternative fiber category. These solutions will give our customers’ products a distinct feel and offer consumers a tactile experience not found with other materials.’

These products have Fedrigoni’s ultra-wet strength treatment which prevents the formation of wrinkles and the deformation of the label, when exposed to temperature changes, including ice bucket immersion. Additionally, the ultra-wet strength increases the adhesion of the label on glass surfaces in damp conditions, making it ideal for white, rosé and sparkling wines.

Premium brands require a high-end aesthetic. This expanded range of alternative fiber materials allows brands to convey a strong brand message and offer consumers a tactile experience, unlike other materials in the market.
